Inferna LLC (2024)
Inferna LLC pits three IRS agents against a tyrannical CEO in the depths of hell. Play as an agent and hack and slash your way through demons, traps, and office supplies or play as the Overseer, and use your demonic powers of corporate management to crush your mortal opponents.

Over the course of a college semester, my team and I took Inferna LLC from an idea to a prototype to a full vertical slice. Making a cohesive, asymmetric online multiplayer experience was a challenge that pushed us to improve our game development skills.
Early on, I tweaked values in our 3rd Person character controller to feel tighter and responsive. Using Unreal 5’s CHAOS physics plugin, I created effects that made destroying objects satisfying without breaking the game’s networking.
Later on, I collaborated with our graphic designer to create functional HUD elements that helped players understand what was happening while being in-theme with the rest of the game.
Player feedback was crucial during development, so I attended multiple playtesting sessions to assist in gathering data and helping players.
Every step of the way I collaborated with a talented, interdisciplinary team of programmers, artists, designers, and more. This familiarized myself with every pipeline involved in game development, and boosted my proficiency with Unreal Engine 5.
